— The gardens of Elspeth Diederix
From June 23 - 30 September the exhibition ‘De tuinen van Elspeth Diederix’ will be seen in the Stedelijk Museum of Schiedam. Among other projects she will present a satellite garden of The Miracle Garden.
The Sweet Peas & Morning Glory Garden will be made up of temporary summer annuals. The garden will consist of large flower pots with trellises in the shape of an obelisk. The obelisks will have a sea of sweet peas climbing up them intertwined with Morning Glory of incredible colors and stripes. The underplanting will consist of Eschscholzia, Lobularia and Tropaeolum. It will be a scented forest that you wander through before you reach the entrance of the museum.
