The first year the leaves of these kales where picked a lot by wild foragers that recognize it as an edible. This second year they were left alone and they've done really well. Beautiful plant for some structure later on in the year. Now at the beginning of march 2020 they are starting to flower. Good for the insects and I hope it self seeds.

This year nothing was left of this beautiful kale. Foragers just cut off the whole plant! Now the doves have discovered the last of the leaves which I somehow I mind less.
