— AMC artist edition
Each year the AMC ( Amsterdam Medisch Centrum) invites an artist to maken an art edition for their series The Human Form. This is always presented during the medical public lecture 'De Anatomische Les'. Among the other artists that have contributed in the past years are Jennifer Tee, Berend Strik, Danielle van Ark, Scarlett Hooft Graafland, Marlene Dumas and Gijs Frieling.
This year I was invited. The images I made for this edition are a preliminary study for the work 'Fowerfields' for which I have been commisioned by the AMC art foundation. It will be realised in the coming years 2020-2024. 'Flowerfields' will consist of images of medicinal plants which I will be growing in The Miracle Garden.
Together with Sabrina Kamstra , curator of the AMC art foundation, we won the Elisabeth van Thüringen prize to realize this work.

The Sweet Peas & Morning Glory Garden will be made up of temporary summer annuals. The garden will consist of large flower pots with trellises in the shape of an obelisk.
